Genohistory

Our ancestors were much more than names and dates; they lived in specific times and places, they interacted with particular individuals, they were shaped by the events and technology that circumscribed their daily lives.

If we want to know who they were, we need to learn about the cultures, landscapes, beliefs and experiences that shaped them. History and genealogy are two sides of the same story.

Genohistorical research is more in-depth, and more time consuming, than standard genealogical research. It can be written up into the form of a family history book if that is the goal. As a result, the cost can vary considerably and will be determined after consultation.
